Welcome to Dig Deeper. By downloading, installing, or using the Dig Deeper iOS app ("App" or "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
We reserve the right to amend, suspend, or terminate our Services at any time at our sole discretion. We will endeavour to give you reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
1.1 Dig Deeper is an AI-powered Bible study app for Christians. It provides a Bible reader, AI-generated study content, notes, reading plans, highlights, badge-based progress tracking, and daily devotionals ("Services").
1.2 The App may be updated from time to time to add, modify, or remove features and Services. You agree to use the latest available version where practicable. We are not obligated to provide upgrades or updates, and we reserve the right to change content and features at any time with or without notice. We shall not be liable for any losses you may suffer as a result of such changes.
1.3 To allow you to access and use our Services, we may need to perform scheduled or unscheduled maintenance. We will endeavour to give notice where practicable. If such maintenance causes an interruption to your access, we shall not bear liability to you or any third parties. Apple is not obligated to provide maintenance, technical support, or other services for Dig Deeper.
1.4 We sometimes release features that are still undergoing testing and evaluation. We strive to mark these accordingly. While we are grateful for early adopters, we make no warranties about the reliability of beta features. We may log and analyze your interactions with beta features to improve them.
2.1 Dig Deeper offers a free tier and a Premium subscription (monthly or annual) that unlocks additional AI-powered features. You can find information about subscription plans, pricing, and features on the subscription screen within the App before making a purchase.
2.2 Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID via in-app purchase. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Removing the Dig Deeper app from your device does not deactivate or cancel your subscription.
2.3 At our sole discretion, we may offer a free trial period for subscription plans. A subscription with a free trial period will automatically convert to a paid subscription for the same duration at the end of the trial. If you do not wish to continue with the paid subscription, please cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial period.
2.4 Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time via iOS Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you will retain Premium access until that date. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
2.5 Refunds. All refund requests are handled by Apple. Contact Apple Support at reportaproblem.apple.com.
2.6 We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the App after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
3.1 You may sign in using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In. These Terms govern your account. We may also support third-party sign-ins. Your consent must be given to enable such sign-ins.
3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You will not share your account or subscription with any other person, and you will not let anyone else access your account. In the event you become aware of or reasonably suspect any breach of security — including any loss, theft, or unauthorized disclosure of your personal information — you must immediately notify us at support@digdeeperapp.com. You are solely responsible for all transactions and actions undertaken through your Dig Deeper account, whether or not authorized by you.
3.3 By downloading, installing, and/or using Dig Deeper, you represent and warrant that:
3.4 Notice to Parents. If you grant your child approval to download, install, use, or access Dig Deeper, you hereby agree to these Terms on behalf of your child. You are responsible for supervising your child's use of the App. If your child did not seek your prior consent, please stop your child from using Dig Deeper and contact us at support@digdeeperapp.com. If you are the parent or legal guardian of a minor who has accessed Dig Deeper without parental approval, please contact us immediately.
4.1 Subject to your complete and ongoing compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to:
4.2 When exercising your rights under this license, you agree to use the App and Services for personal and non-commercial use and, above all, fairly and lawfully. If you are prohibited under any applicable law from using the Services, you may not use them.
4.3 No licenses or rights are granted to you by implication or otherwise, except for the licenses and rights expressly granted above. Your license does not allow you to:

4.5 We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to issue warnings, remove content, suspend, disable, terminate, or permanently ban your access to the Services at any time, without liability to you or any third party, if you:
4.6 If your account is suspended, disabled, or terminated, you may not create a new account or ask any other person to create a new account on your behalf. If you believe your account was wrongfully terminated, you may contact us at support@digdeeperapp.com.
5.1 All App design, branding, logos, graphics, UI elements, and non-Bible content are owned by Dig Deeper and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our prior written permission.
5.2 The Bible translations available in Dig Deeper (KJV, ASV, WEB, LSV) are in the public domain. We do not own, claim, or acquire any proprietary rights, interest, or title to these Bible texts. They are made available for personal study use in accordance with their public domain status.
5.3 AI-generated content produced by the App is generated using Anthropic's Claude API and is subject to Anthropic's usage policies. You may use AI-generated content for your personal study, but you may not use it to build competing products or services.
6.1 You retain ownership of notes, highlights, journal entries, and other content you create in the App ("User Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store and process your User Content solely to provide the App's features to you.
6.2 You are responsible for the User Content you create. You agree not to create, upload, or store content that is unlawful, harmful, false or misleading, sexually explicit or profane, abusive of or harmful to minors, fraudulent, or that infringes on the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
7.1 You agree to use the Services for personal and non-commercial use and, above all, fairly and lawfully. You may not upload, distribute, or otherwise use through the App any content that may be considered:

8.1 Dig Deeper uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate Bible study content, word studies, and note insights. AI-generated responses are provided for devotional and educational purposes only. They are not theological statements, professional advice, or authoritative doctrine. Always verify AI responses against Scripture and trusted sources.
8.2 We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability, or availability of any AI-generated Output or Content with respect to the App for any purpose. You must use discretion and judgment when making decisions or taking actions based on AI-generated Output or Content. Any reliance you place on AI-generated Output or Content is strictly at your own risk.
9.1 Dig Deeper uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms and privacy policies:
9.2 We do not guarantee the accuracy and integrity of any external links accessible through the Services. We shall not be responsible for the content of any third-party linked site, nor liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of such external links.
10.1 To use our Services, you must have a compatible mobile device and a stable internet connection (data rates may apply). The quality and availability of the Services may be affected by factors outside our control. We (and our third-party vendors) do not warrant that our Services will be compatible with all hardware and software you may use.
10.2 We shall not bear any liability for the interruption of or other inadequacies in the Services caused by your mobile network operator or circumstances of force majeure or otherwise beyond our reasonable control. Where we can, we shall reasonably attempt to minimize the resulting impact on you.
10.3 The Services are provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, as to the operation and provision of the Services or any part thereof. Under no circumstance do we guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, safe, timely, or free from errors, delays, or disruptions. We also do not make any warranty of merchantability, technical compatibility, title, non-infringement, fitness for any particular purpose, security, or freedom from harmful code.
10.4 Some jurisdictions do not allow for the exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.
11.1 To the extent permissible by law, neither we nor Apple, nor our third-party licensors shall be liable in any way for the quality, timeliness, accuracy, or completeness of the Services, and shall not be responsible for any consequences which may arise from your use of such Services.
11.2 To the extent permitted by applicable law, you expressly understand and agree that we, our affiliates, and our third-party licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages or any other intangible losses resulting from: (a) the use or the inability to use our Services; (b) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmission or data; (c) statements or conduct of any third party; (d) any other matter relating to the Services or these Terms (whether based on contract, tort, or otherwise, and whether or not we have been advised of such damages). Even if we, or our third-party licensors, were found liable, the total aggregate liability arising out of this agreement shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the six (6) months immediately preceding the date on which you first assert a claim. If you have not paid anything to us during such time period, your sole remedy (and our exclusive liability) for any dispute with us is to stop using the Services and to cancel your account.
11.3 Nothing in this agreement shall affect the statutory rights of any consumer or exclude or restrict any liability resulting from our gross negligence or willful misconduct, or for death or personal injury arising from any negligence or fraud by us.
11.4 You irrevocably waive all rights to seek injunctive or other equitable relief, or to enjoin or restrain the operation of the Services, and agree to limit your claims to claims for monetary damages, limited by these Terms (if any).
11.5 Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims you may have relating to the Dig Deeper app, including but not limited to: (a) product liability claims; (b) any claim that the App fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement; and (c) claims arising under consumer protection, privacy, or similar legislation.
11.6 You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold us (and our officers, directors, agents, subsidiaries, employees, and third-party licensors) harmless from any claim, demand, damages, or other losses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, asserted by any third party resulting from or arising out of your use of the Services or any breach by you of this Agreement, except where such infringement of rights is not attributable to your intentional or negligent behaviour.
12.1 Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you agree to the collection, use, and storage of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
12.2 Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at support@digdeeperapp.com. We will permanently delete your data within 30 days of a confirmed deletion request.
13.1 We reserve the right to terminate these Terms and your access to the Services at any time at our sole discretion for any reason. We will endeavour to give you advance and reasonable notice before termination. Upon termination: (a) the rights and licenses granted to you herein shall terminate; and (b) you must cease all use of the Dig Deeper app.
13.2 You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@digdeeperapp.com. If you have a paid subscription, cancellation of your account does not automatically cancel your subscription — you must cancel it separately through Apple (see Section 2.4).
14.1 Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Services and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.
14.2 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms, in whole or in part, without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights or obligations at any time without notice or consent.
14.3 Waiver. The failure to require performance of any provision of these Terms will not affect our right to require performance at any other time. No waiver by us of any breach shall be a waiver of any subsequent breach or of the provision itself. No waiver or modification of any term of these Terms will be effective unless in writing.
14.4 Severability. If any part of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable from these Terms, and the invalidity of that provision will not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of these Terms.
14.5 Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas.
14.6 Force Majeure. We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside our reasonable control, including without limitation any failure to perform due to acts of God, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, pandemics, nationwide IT network attacks or failures, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation, fuel, energy, labour, or materials.
14.7 Class Action Waiver. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to waive the ability to pursue any claim against us as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class action or representative proceeding.
14.8 Changes to These Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
